Cathode active materials were clearly key contributors in all investigated batteries, accounting for a relative contribution of 24–39 % for NMMT, 51–67 % for NVPF, 25–39 % for NaPBA, 51–64 % for NMC 811, and 34–52 % for LFP, regardless of the production year and applied scenarios.
